The Dupla Ground is a lime-free soil substrate for use in freshwater aquariums and comes in various quantities.

Dupla Ground is a lime-free and water-neutral soil substrate that provides plants with a secure hold and a very decorative effect. Thanks to the grain size of 1 to 4 mm, it allows optimal soil perfusion, which allows the plant roots to absorb more nutrients. The round grain is particularly suitable for fish, such as catfish, armoured catfish and loaches, which look for food with their sensitive barbels in the ground.
Note:
Prior to first use, Dupla Ground should be rinsed with cold water to remove any transportation-related abrasion. A layer thickness, depending on the planting, of 5-8 cm above the nutrient medium has been found to be optimal.
Tip:
The use of a floor convector, as well as a nutrient substrate, will help you in the long run to have a magnificent and healthy plant aquarium! Consider these possibilities in advance, as they are placed under the aquarium gravel and can be installed later only by clearing the aquarium.
The correct amount of soil is calculated by the following formula:
Aquarium length (cm) x width (cm): 140. The result is the amount of soil with a 5 cm thick layer. Example: length 100 cm x width 40 cm = 28.6 kg.
