The liquid water additive SaltyShrimp Leaves & Bark contains valuable extracts from sea almond leaves and various barks from partly tropical trees. The water is not visibly discoloured by this conditioner. The humic substances, tannins and saponins contained here can support the biological balance in the aquarium. The water does not change colour visibly. The humic substances and tannins in SaltyShrimp Leaves & Bark can increase the resistance of your aquarium inhabitants to dangerous germs.

In addition to sea almond leaves, SaltyShrimp Leaves & Bark also contains oak bark (Quercus), the bark of the African plum tree (Pygeum africanum), the lapacho tree (Tabebuia impetiginosa), the cat's claw (Uncaria tomentosa) and the quebracho tree (Aspidospermaanco).

Sea almond leaves of the Terminalia catappa tree have a long tradition in aquaristics. They have a germ-inhibiting and anti-inflammatory effect, prevent fungal infections and can make the animals more resistant. However, their active ingredients dissolve too quickly in the water and are then broken down or removed by changing the water.

Tree bark contains many substances that protect the tree from pests or pathogens, and bark is often used in traditional medicine as a remedy and care product.

As a natural product, leaves and barks vary greatly in their active ingredient content - some leaves hardly stain the water in the aquarium, others very strongly. Even dosing is almost impossible.

With SaltyShrimp Leaves & Bark you can now easily use the positive active ingredients of sea almond leaves and the various bark in the aquarium and do not have to constantly add new material. Bacterial-inhibiting, fungus-inhibiting substances, which act against inflammation and care for the animals' mucous membranes, are brought into your aquarium with this water conditioner, especially flavonoids, humic acids and tannins.

Flavonoids are actually water-soluble plant dyes that protect plants from damage caused by microorganisms or insects, which can have an anti-inflammatory effect and can help against allergies.

Humic acids are formed when organic matter is broken down. Humic acids have an advantageous effect on the defense system of shrimps and ornamental fish in the aquarium, can stabilise the pH in the water, they can render harmful substances harmless and promote the well-being of the animals in the aquarium.

The water-soluble tannins are vegetable tannins that can reduce the bacterial load in the aquarium water.

You should shake the bottle of SaltyShrimp Leaves & Bark very well before use. Add 1 ml (approx. 12 drops) to every 10 litres of aquarium water, preferably after changing the water.
