JBL ProFlora v002

The JBL ProFlora v002 is a noiseless solenoid valve to complement CO2 fertilisers or pH controllers and doses the CO2 supply that is released into the aquarium water. The 12V solenoid valve with electronic power supply is suitable for use with ProFlora u001, u004 and m001 pressure regulators or any other 4/6 mm CO2 control valve. It can be installed directly into the hose or connected to the pressure control valve. The ProFlora v002 is a top-of-the-range solenoid that produces no humming noise when operated at 2V DC. An electronic universal power supply allows use at all common mains voltages worldwide.

CO2 is the main food with which all aquarium plants need to grow healthy and strong. Healthy plants are synonymous with reduced algae production, as these are deprived of food by the improved growth of the plants. To develop the plant, the following needs should be met: Light as an energy source for photosynthesis CO2, nutrients and trace elements as growth promoters. JBL Plant Fertilisers provide the plants with water through all the main nutrients and essential trace elements. Thus, the plants receive all the nutrients they need for absorption through the leaves and roots.

But CO2 offers even more benefits for the aquarium: Most of the well-kept fish come from slightly acidic waters and are sensitive to fluctuating water levels. CO2 is able to easily acidify aquarium water and stabilize water levels to plant and fish-appropriate levels.

Precise dosage
Without light as an energy source, plants do not release oxygen but still emit CO2. A high intake of carbon dioxide is therefore not necessary at night. Through the noiseless solenoid valve, a dosage of the required amount of carbon dioxide is possible. The device is either a night time switch of the fertiliser or directly via a pH controller such as. The JBL ProFlora pH Control touch (timer and control unit not included) is controlled. The correct amount of CO varies with each aquarium and depends on the volume, the movement of water and the planting of the aquarium.

Safe and economical
The valve body is hardly lukewarm due to power consumption of 0.8 watts and works with a 12 V safety transformer. The noiseless valve offers CO2 savings of up to 50%.
