Microbe-Lift Bio-Pure - Pellets

This specially developed filter material for pellet reactors is ideally suited to permanently reduce nitrate and phosphate levels in saltwater aquariums. As an organic carbon source, it supports bacteria in their growth and contributes to the breakdown of unwanted nutrients. Nitrate and phosphate are collected in biomass e.g. can be easily and safely removed using a skimmer.

Bio-Pure consists of PHB and is 100% biodegradable. The bioavailability is around 98%.

Application Tips:

• With PO4 values below 0.1 mg, max. Use 50 ml per 100 litres of water.
• With PO4 values over 0.1 mg, max. Use 100 ml per 100 litres of water.
• Soak the required amount of Bio-Pure in osmosis water for approx. 24 h.
• A slight clouding of water is normal during the first few days and disappears after a few days.
• Please ensure that there is sufficient skimming in the immediate vicinity of the pellet filter.
• The ARKA Core Bio-Pellet Reactor is suitable for the best possible results.
• Measurable results appear after about 1-2 weeks.
