Echinodorus grisebachii Bleherae grows to a height of 60 - 80 cm and is a variety of large Amazonian sword plants. It is a very popular plant for the background in aquariums. Its leaves are 3 - 6 cm wider than those of the Amazonicus. For optimum growth, the substrate must be at least 10 cm deep so that the plant can take root.
