Echinodorus grisebachii Bleherae is a vareity of large Amazonian sword plants and reaches a height of 60 - 80 cm. It is a very popular background plant for aquariums. Its leaves are around 3 - 6 cm wider than those of the Amazonicus. It requires a substrate depth of at least 10 cm for the roots to develop well and for the plant to thrive.
