Dennerle Plants Staurogyne repens

Staurogyne repens is still considered a newcomer in the amateur aquarium scene but has already won over many aquascapers as a distinctive way to green up the foreground. It is a slow-growing stem plant: with a max. height of 5 to 10 cm, it creates flowing layout transitions, closes gaps or lends a natural look to banks and grassy areas. It needs sufficient light, CO₂ and nutrients to grow dense, compact and colourful. It responds well to regular, even vigorous pruning - please be gentle and use the right tools!

• Water hardness: soft to medium
• ph value: between 6 and 7
• Temperature: high tolerance between 20 and 28 °C
• Propagation: Heading cuttings, side shoots

Tip: Staurogyne repens is a true enrichment for planted aquariums. The easy-care stem plant is perfect for the foreground to midground; it looks particularly attractive in gaps in the hardscape and gives the impression of natural wilderness.
