Description

The Dupla RO 190 osmosis system is a complete reverse osmosis system for the creation of optimal starting water for fresh and saltwater aquariums.

The Dupla RO 190 reverse osmosis system is completely pre-assembled on a plate and creates an optimal source of water for fresh and saltwater aquariums. Tap water is not always suitable for aquariums and should, therefore, be treated with a reverse osmosis system that extracts minerals and salts from the tap water. Reverse osmosis systems create an optimal source of water for fresh and saltwater aquariums. Often, many water problems can only be solved by using osmosis water. Reverse osmosis systems work on the principle of physical filtering. Unlike ion exchangers, for example, which exchange hardness-forming ions (e.g. calcium) for other non-hardness-forming ions (e.g. sodium), pollutants (e.g. silicate and nitrate) and hardness formers are physically removed from the water in the reverse osmosis system, In a reverse osmosis system, the water runs through the pressure of 2-6 bar in common household water pipes through a semi-permeable (semipermeable) membrane. The substances dissolved in the water (pollutants, salts or hardening agents) cannot pass through the small lattice structure of the membrane and remain in the residual water. This residual water is derived as a concentrate and can be safely used as cleaning, irrigation or service water. Dupla reverse osmosis systems have a retention rate of 95-98% of all pollutants in tap water.

Tip
By switching on a Dupla ultrapure water filter (optional accessory), even the slightest residue of silicates and nitrates can be removed completely without residue.

Osmosis water has only a very low conductivity and is salted up again with special salts according to the respective needs.
The Dupla RO 190 osmosis system has an average output at 8-15 ° C and 2-4 bar pressure of 100-190 litres of processed water per day. The retention rate is, for example: nitrates 92-97%, sulfates 97-98% and silicates 94-96%. The system also contains a carbon filter, a 5 µm fine filter, a flow limiter and a ¾ great connection for the water pipe.
