Description
Lava Base by GarnelenTv is an ideal substrate for any aquarium. The porous texture of lava rocks makes them an excellent habitat for filter bacteria which in turn promotes a healthy ecosystem. As a base layer, the textured lava rock improves water circulation and plant growth.
Lava rocks are red to dark brown and sometimes even greyish in colour. They are full of bubble-like pores which make them much lighter in weight than other types of rock. This creates the optimal conditions for a healthy habitat as well as an attractive component in the layout of an aquarium.
