The mineral SaltyShrimp Sulawesi Mineral 7.5 was developed by the manufacturer SaltyShrimp after a trip to the Malili lake system in Sulawesi based on water samples they had brought with them. SaltyShrimp Sulawesi Mineral 7.5 is ideal for the somewhat less sensitive Sulawesi shrimp such as the cardinal shrimp Caridina dennerli or the ghost cardinal shrimp Caridina sp. With this specially developed mineral salt, you can imitate the special water values of Lake Matano pretty perfectly.

With SaltyShrimp Sulawesi Mineral 7.5 you re-mineralise osmosis water or water from a demineraliser (demineralised water) suitable for Sulawesi shrimps from Lake Matano, such as the cardinal shrimp Caridina dennerli or the blue-footed shrimp Caridina caerulea. Of course, you can also keep these species with SaltyShrimp Sulawesi Mineral 8.5, but this is somewhat more difficult to handle.

SaltyShrimp Sulawesi Mineral 7.5 supports the healthy microflora in the filter, which breaks down pollutants, thereby indirectly ensuring that harmful bacteria cannot get out of hand. The aquarium mineral salt increases the total hardness (GH) and the carbonate hardness (KH) of the water in a ratio of 1: 0.42.

The salt for aquariums with Sulawesi Shrimp SaltyShrimp Sulawesi Mineral 7.5 already contains all the minerals and trace elements that your Sulawesi shrimp from Lake Matano need for healthy development and good colouring. You don't need any other water additives here.
Mix in the mineral salt outside of your aquarium and stir well. SaltyShrimp Sulawesi Mineral 7.5 is readily water-soluble and the water can then be used immediately. However, we recommend adjusting the temperature so that the sensitive shrimp do not have large temperature fluctuations when changing water. If not all of the salt dissolves, that's not a bad thing, you simply give these residues to the aquarium. The can or bucket must be closed tightly again so that the salt does not clump together with the air humidity.
You can harden osmosis water or demineralised water with a lightly heaped measuring spoon of SaltyShrimp Sulawesi Mineral 7.5 (approx. 3.5 g) to 15 litres of water. This gives you a total hardness of approx. 6 ° dGH and conductivity of approx. 270 +/- 40 µS (microsiemens).
