The Hobby Ceramlit filter tubes are ceramic and are used for mechanical pre-filtering and are also suitable as biological filter media in external filters. The structure of the hollow body ensures an optimal flow rate and prevents the filter from clogging with coarse dirt and suspended particles. The service life of filters is thus considerably extended. Ceramlit can easily and conveniently be put loose or in a mesh bag in the first filter basket of the external filter, but also in the first chamber of the filter basin. The large surface also offers useful cleansing bacteria an optimal settlement area.
