JBL ProPond Autumn M is a sinking Autumn food according to NEO index in pellet form for medium Koi of 35-55 cm, which can be fed in the pond at temperatures between 10-20 ° C and is available in different containers.

ProPond Autumn M's better digestibility is promoted due to prebiotic ingredients, which ensures better water quality. The fine-tuned phosphate content also reduces water turbidity and thus inhibits algae growth. In addition to the seasonal concept, JBL ProPonds offers special products that can be fed alone or as an additional supplement for special requirements or as a treat. ProPond Autumn M are medium, 6 mm sinking food wafers, with 28% protein, 10% fat, 2% raw fibre and 6% raw ash.

NEO Index literally means: Natural energy-optimised nutrition. Behind this is the ratio of proteins to fats in the feed. If only the season were taken into account, fish would only need half as many proteins (2: 1) in winter as in summer (4: 1). However, since not only the season, i.e. the water temperature, but also the size and age, as well as the function of the feed (e.g. growth feed = ProPond Growth) play a decisive role, the NEO Index was developed, which has all these properties packed in a statement.

The NEO index alone is not yet decisive: the NEO index spring and autumn is 3: 1 identical, although the feed composition is completely different! Because of the same water temperature in spring and autumn, the right protein-fat ratio is 3: 1, but the goals of the feed are very different - and therefore also the composition: In spring, the fish should be made fit and pumped up after the deprived winter, for example, defying the spring viremia. In autumn, on the other hand, the fish are supposed to eat a “winter bacon” for the upcoming winter in order to survive it healthily. In addition, there is the different sinking behaviour of the feed: in spring, the fish become active again and can come to the surface to eat (adding the possibility of observing whether diseases have affected the fish). Therefore the spring food floats. In autumn, however, the fish should come to rest and eat on the bottom. Therefore, the autumn food is designed to sink.
