Life in an aquarium is a colourful mix of creatures. In addition to visible aquarium dwellers such as plants, fish and other animals, it is also home to a large number of invisible and varied microorganisms. Hard-working bacteria maintain the biological balance in an aquarium by converting organic waste (e.g. food residues or animal excrement) and toxic biological substances (e.g. ammonia and nitrite) produced by naturally occurring processes into harmless substances.

KickstartFilter Start bacteria support the natural filtering process in an aquarium. The product comes in the form of three tablets with concentrated microorganisms which take effect immediately after use. While the tablets dissolve quickly, the bacteria begin to activate the filter, the water and the substrate. Harmful substances are successfully removed by the bacteria while the additional trace elements create a good environment for other beneficial microorganisms to rapidly multiply.

Application:

Use one tablet to start the biological filtration in a new aquarium. If you notice that the filter performance is no longer sufficient, you can add another tablet to the water.
