Sera Granugreen is a staple food in granule form for smaller, herbivorous cichlids in freshwater aquariums.

Thanks to their near-natural recipe and robust texture, the sera cichlid foods enjoy excellent acceptance among picky cichlids. The varying needs of these large and magnificent fish are optimally met by the different types of food that are geared towards the different sizes and eating habits.

Sera Granugreen is a green and staple feed made up of carefully produced granules for predominantly plant-eating and smaller cichlids that feed on periphyton. This includes many of the East African cichlid species. High-quality plant components such as spirulina algae and spinach with a high content of natural carotenoids promote optimal colour development. The balanced formulation supports good growth and healthy digestion. The slowly sinking granules are extremely stable and do not pollute the water.

Feeding recommendation:
Feed sera Granugreen 1-2 times a day in as small amounts - as much as the fish can eat in a few minutes. If you notice any leftover food afterwards, suction them up and reduce the amount of feed the next time. Once opened, keep the container tightly closed and use it up within a few months to prevent loss of freshness.

Tip: Observe on a fasting day at regular intervals to boost the metabolism of the fish and to promote natural behaviour through active foraging. The main food can be supplemented with other Sera foods to vary the daily menu.
