Description
The Coral Clean by Tropic Marin is an iodine-containing cleaner that removes impurities from corals before they are placed in a (new) aquarium. The phosphate-free bath enables gentle cleaning and does not cause any pollution in the tank.
Application and dosage:
- Fill a container (made of glass or plastic) with the aquarium seawater.
- Add 1 ml of Coral Clean per 100 ml of water.
- Mix well.
- Immerse the coral completely and leave it in the bath for 10-15 minutes.
- Remove the coral when the time is up. Before doing so, shake it gently in the bath so that any attached organisms can fall off.
- Place the coral back in the tank.
Caution! Coral crabs should be removed from the coral before cleaning and returned afterwards.
Note: It is not unusual for the coral to open again two days after the bath.
