Description
The salt content of water is one of the important water parameters in a saltwater aquarium. It should be checked regularly because most aquarium inhabitants do not respond well to changes in their environment. Fluctuations in salinity cause stress and negatively affect their well-being.
Tropic Marin's Measuring Cylinder made of transparent plastic is a tool for determining the salt content in saltwater aquariums. The precision instrument is 36 cm in height and has a 500 ml capacity. It has a stable base and spout. It has a scale with raised markings to make it easier to read.

Note: With an average salinity of 35 ‰ at 25 °C, natural seawater has a density of approx. 1.023 kg/L. A value between 1.022 and 1.024 kg/L is recommended in a saltwater aquarium.
