Description
This somewhat more sophisticated little water star comes from Southeast Asia. This aquarium plant is 5 to approx. 10 cm high and is perfect for the foreground to the middle of the aquarium.
The water star is attached to a lava stone and proves to be a great eye-catcher in the aquarium. The elongated leaves with the wavy edge are coloured bright green and are star-shaped around the stem.
This beautiful aquarium plant needs additional fertilisation with CO2 and a good supply of plant nutrients as well as medium to strong light in order to grow well and compactly. Under a lot of light, the star herb remains very compact and short, in weaker light, it may grow upwards.
