Tropica Rotala indica 'Bonsai' CUP

Rotala indica 'Bonsai' or Indian Rotala is one of the most visually interesting aquarium plants with its fleshy appearance and strictly upright growth. Planted as a group, the stable looking hedge structure is impressive - a fantastic design element for layouts of the most varied of styles! In very good light, the leaves and stems turn reddish in colour; When there is less light, the leaves enlarge, but the overall structure then appears less compact. However, cut shoots can easily be planted in order to compact the group again. The stems can reach a height of 30 cm, but it grows very slowly. Smaller pools can therefore also be a good home for them. The foreground and middle ground offer the Indian Rotala enough leeway to thrive quietly.

Indian Rotala brings diversity to the aquarium thanks to its compact structure. It enriches many layouts, also in the Dutch style, and thanks to its slow growth, it also fits into the planting concepts of well-kept nano aquariums.

Note: The cups are grown in the laboratory. Aquatic plants from the so-called in vitro culture are grown sterile. They are therefore also suitable for sensitive animals such as dwarf shrimp and can be used immediately. With in vitro plants, there are no stowaways such as snails or parasites, and pesticides are also completely avoided.
