Brazilian grass plant

The easy-to-maintain Brazilian grass plant Lilaeopsis brasiliensis from South America likes soft to medium-hard water. The 5 to approx. 7 cm tall grass plant really comes into its own in the foreground of the aquarium.
The fine light green leaves of the Brazilian grass plant Lilaeopsis brasiliensis look like blades of grass. The plant is only 5 to 7 cm high and is therefore really good for a planting in the foreground of the aquarium and also for a nano aquarium.
The medium-fast growing Lilaeopsis brasiliensis proliferates via offshoots. Soon, the lawn in the foreground in the aquarium is really nice and covered. The shoots can be cut off with scissors and then replanted elsewhere. The best way to do this is with a pair of tweezers because the young plants of the Brazilian grass plant are quite small.
Lilaeopsis brasiliensis grows best in soft and medium-hard water. A CO2 fertiliser promotes their growth but is not necessary for their care. Under medium to strong light, the Brazilian grass plants grow optimally and compactly.
Your Lilaeopsis brasiliensis is extracted from cell culture in vitro in the laboratory and therefore does not bring any harmful substances or pests with it. The plants from our cups can be planted into your aquarium without any reservations, even if you keep sensitive dwarf shrimps in them.
Our expert Oliver Knott recommends:
Every now and then, you should thin out the lawn, because the Brazilian grass plant likes to grow in several layers on top of each other and then steals the light itself.
