Dennerle Scaper's Soil Natural Mix 1–4 mm, 4 l

Create a foundation for your planted aquarium with Scaper’s Soil Natural Mix by Dennerle. This active substrate suits detailed aquascapes and shrimp that prefer soft water.

Product highlights at a glance:

• Active water conditioning: Reduces carbonate hardness and helps stabilise the pH in the slightly acidic range of approximately 5.0 to 6.0.
• Nutrients for plants: Clay minerals and volcanic soil (andosol) supply trace elements and minerals for aquatic plants.
• Space for beneficial microorganisms: The highly porous structure provides plenty of surface area for colonisation.
• Lasting shape: Double-fired granules help maintain the structure of your underwater layout.
• Mixed grain sizes and colours: A blend of 1 to 4 mm particles in black, brown and reddish brown complements detailed hardscape arrangements.

Directions for use:

Add the granules directly to the aquarium without rinsing. Shape the substrate to create your preferred slope, then carefully plant your aquatic plants. The substrate can also be used as an active filter medium to help adjust water parameters.
