Description
'Glossostigma elatinoides' is a fast-growing ground cover that is very popular for natural layouts. The low-stem plant does well with good light, sufficient CO2 and soft water, and the light conditions should be very good. It does not like shade cast by other plants or hardscape as this will cause it to quickly shoot up. It should be given enough room to grow, even in nano tanks. Small aquarium dwellers find the dense leaves perfect as a place to take shelter or hide.

- Optimal temperature: 4 - 30 °C, very tolerant
- Water values: preferably soft, but still tolerant
- pH value: 4 to 7 - tolerant
- CO2 and nutrient addition: absolutely recommended
- Propagation: cuttings, division, runners
