The water pumped by the STERILISER UV flows in a thin layer directly in the area of UV-C-UV radiation, which destroys algae, bacteria and other pathogenic organisms.

Thanks to the STERILISER UV, the water in the aquarium remains clean and clear, and the fish and plants live in a comfortable and healthy environment, which is also protected from diseases by the STERILISER UV.

The STERILISER UV is not submersible and should be used outside of the aquarium. The water flowing through the STERILISER UV should be mechanically filtered through the pre-filter. It should be fed with a pump or an aquarium filter. Transparent connectors enable hoses with different diameters to be connected. In addition, some AQUAEL pumps and aquarium filters are suitable for direct connection or even the installation of a steriliser lamp in the filter housing.

STERILISER UV offers a flow rate of up to 1100 l / h and is an essential element of professional filtration systems. Do not touch the glass of the fluorescent lamp directly with your hands. Fingerprints should be removed with a dry cloth before installation.
