ARKA Zeopure Powder, 250 g

Zeopure Powder is a premium zeolite with a grain size of 50 microns and an approx. 90% clinoptilolite content. It is designed to help remove undesirable substances effectively and provide targeted support for water quality issues in marine and freshwater aquariums.

Zeopure Powder adsorbs ammonium before it can be converted into nitrite and nitrate as part of the nitrification process. This can help reduce nitrate levels in a safe, biological way. Undesirable substances already present in the water, such as phosphates, are effectively bound and can then be removed via the protein skimmer or filter wool.

Zeopure Powder is particularly suitable for water quality issues, including problems with cyanobacteria, also known as slime algae.

Our recommendation:

• Zeopure Powder causes heavy clouding at first. After a few hours, the water will become crystal clear.
• Accidentally adding more Zeolite Powder than the recommended amount is generally well-tolerated.
• Use only distilled or ultra-pure water for the stock solution.

Dosage:

Add one level teaspoon per 100 litres of water directly to the aquarium in a high-flow area, or mix the required amount with a little water beforehand.

Dosage option 2:

Add 5-10 tablespoons to a canister containing 5 litres of distilled water. Use 50 ml of this stock solution per 100 litres of water. Shake well before each use. Apply twice a week, or daily in severe cases.
