The pendix is a high-end modular LED system by daytime LED designed for open freshwater and saltwater aquariums. The pendix LED lamps feature a CNC-machined, saltwater-resistant casing made of anodised aluminium and is fitted with rustproof V4A stainless steel screws. A flexible cable attachment on the casing allows for the cable to invisible thus keeping the optics clean, simple and elegant.

The lamps can be set up with individual extendable LED modules. These can be placed, moved around and swapped out by the user individually, regardless of position. The LED modules are tough and covered in crystal-clear polyurethane thick-film encapsulation and cured using UVC light technology. The LED lamp operates silently thanks to a fanless passive cooling system and ensures 20% higher heat dissipation due to lateral heat-conducting surfaces.

pendix lamps can be suspended with a cord over an open aquarium. For this purpose, they have the following features:

• Buitl-in grooves for cord suspension (set of 2 or set of 3),
• Inline circular grooves for mounting the adapter attachment,
• Screw channels for secure mounting, for example using wall brackets (400, 500 or 600).

The plug-and-play system of LED lamps comes with a professional IP67 connector and has an extra flexible silicone connection cable with a length of 3m. The delivery includes a special key for connecting and disconnecting the module and for relocating the cable clamp.

How does the modular LED system work?

You can choose between 9 different modules that are equipped with the following LEDs in a wide variety of combinations:

• SEOUL Semiconductor SMD LEDs with a chip efficiency of up to 230 lumens/watt,
• SunLike white-light LED with UV-A peak and higher green component,
• LUMILEDS LUXEON Color Line SMD-LED3535L.

Each of the modules has a different LED arrangement, light colour and number of LEDs depending on whether it's a freshwater or saltwater setting. All LEDs guarantee the best light transmission as well as minimal colour shift and have a service life of around 60000 hours and a beam angle of 120°.
