Description
Utricularia graminifolia is a delicate and light-coloured plant that can be planted in the foreground of aquariums. It is native to Sri Lanka where it grows in fast-flowing waters and small streams at an altitude of over 2,000 metres.
It will gradually form a dense and short carpet of plants under medium light conditions.
A special feature of this plant is that it is carnivorous and forms special trapping bubbles to catch microorganisms. However, it poses no danger to young fish or shrimp fry.
