Dennerle Carbo Booster Max

The Carbo Booster Max is a liquid active carbon fertiliser for the fertilisation of aquarium plants in freshwater aquariums and in various containers.

With the Carbo Booster Max, you can effectively supply your aquarium plants with liquid and readily available active carbon, which was produced on the basis of natural raw materials. This actively displaces algae which then has no chance. After just a few weeks you can see visible success if your plants have grown vigorously and developed intense colours. Carbo Booster Max can also be used in combination with carbon dioxide fertilization and is absolutely biocompatible for all aquarium inhabitants such as fish, snails, shrimps and crabs if it is properly dosed and applied.

Carbon (carbon dioxide) is the most important nutrient for aquarium plants. Around 40% of the dry plant mass consists of it but is mostly in short supply in the aquarium. The consequence of this is increased algae formation. Carbo Booster Max supplies all aquarium plants quickly and effectively with readily available carbon. All plants, from mosses to echinodors and cryptocorynes to fast-growing stem plants, become fuller and stronger. The leaves are also significantly larger and more intense in colour. The success is already visible after a few weeks - you should pay attention to the shoot tips and young leaves during this time! The lush and healthy growth of the aquarium plants massively suppresses the growth of algae. The entire aquarium appears healthier, greener and more beautiful.

Carbo Booster Max contains active ingredients that also occur in this or similar form in the plant metabolism. These active ingredients are absorbed by the plant and used in the cells as a building material to build higher connections or as an energy source. This allows the plant to grow faster and more vigorously. There is also another positive aspect: All organic active substances based on carbon are bacterially degradable because the numerous filter bacteria in the aquarium feed on them. In the end, only carbon dioxide (CO2) and water remain.

Application:
Dose 2-4 ml of Carbo Booster Max per 100 litres of aquarium water with normal planting. 250 ml are sufficient for 12,500 litres of aquarium water.

Good to know:
Concentrated glutaraldehyde, which is an ingredient in Carbo Booster Max, is a toxin. With a dosage of 3 ml per 100 liters of aquarium water, the active ingredient is diluted by a factor of 33,000. This application concentration is sufficient to significantly promote plant growth but is so low that the aquarium inhabitants cannot be negatively influenced. In the application concentration used, it is also easily degradable. What the plants do not absorb is decomposed by the filter bacteria - all that remains is CO2, which in turn is used by the plants. Even with continuous use, there is no accumulation of glutaraldehyde in the aquarium. A safety buffer is built into the dosing. Even an accidental double dosage leads to no negative effects. In principle, however, the recommended and tried and tested dosage should be followed.
