JBL ProFlora Direct Diffuser

The JBL ProFlora Direct Membrane 12/16, 16/22, 19/25 is a state-of-the-art ceramic PE hybrid replacement membrane for the ProFlora Direct, effectively delivering the finest CO2 atomization in the JBL ProFlora Direct Diffuser.

Easy installation
The direct diffuser should be integrated into the hose as close to the external filter as possible to extend the distance of the CO2 in the hose as much as possible. A vertical installation position allows the best readability of the bubble counter. Due to the installation in the hose, there is no visible reactor in the aquarium. The JBL ProFlora Direct Diffuser is a practical CO2 direct diffuser that saves a reactor in the aquarium, as well as a bubble counter, a check valve and also saves 20% CO2 through its ingenious operation. The only requirement is the use of an external filter with a suitable hose connection.

Membrane change
Turn off the filter and unscrew the diffuser. Change the membranes and screw the diffuser back together. The annual change of the membrane is recommended.

CO2 is the main food that all aquarium plants need to grow healthy and strong. Healthy plants are synonymous with reduced algae production, as these are deprived of food by the improved growth of the plants. They provide fish and other living things in the aquarium with vital oxygen. Healthy plants prevent algae growth, provide oxygen, remove pollutants, provide hiding places and reduce pathogens. To develop the plant, the following needs should be met: Light as an energy source for photosynthesis CO2, nutrients and trace elements as growth promoters. But CO2 offers even more benefits for the aquarium: Most of the well-kept fish come from slightly acidic waters and are sensitive to fluctuating water levels. CO2 is able to easily acidify aquarium water and stabilise water levels. Here, the usually too high pH in the aquarium on a plant and fish-appropriate level and supplies the plants with their main nutrient.
