JBL ProFlora pH Control

The JBL ProFlora pH-Control touch is a measuring and control computer for controlling CO2 and pH and can be used with CO2 fertiliser systems.

CO2 is the main food that all aquarium plants need in order to grow healthy and vigorously. Healthy plants can be equated with reduced algae production since the food is deprived of them due to the improved growth of the plants. They supply the fish and other living things in the aquarium with vital oxygen. Healthy plants prevent algae growth, provide oxygen, remove pollutants, offer hiding places and reduce pathogens. To develop the plant, the following needs should be met: Light as an energy source for photosynthesis CO2, nutrients and trace elements as growth promoters. JBL plant fertilisers supply the plants with all the main nutrients and essential trace elements via the water. This gives the plants all the nutrients they need to be absorbed through the leaves and roots.

However, CO2 offers even more advantages for the aquarium: Most of the well-kept fish come from slightly acidic waters and are sensitive to fluctuating water values. CO2 is able to slightly acidify the aquarium water and stabilise water values. The pH value in the aquarium, which is usually too high anyway, is brought up to a level appropriate for plants and fish and supplies the plants with their main nutrient.

The JBL proFlora pH-Control touch promotes plant growth and vital fish. This measuring and control computer with touchpad is used for the precise calculation and control of the optimal pH value in the aquarium. With the ProFlora pH control touch, JBL has developed the latest digital measuring and control technology, because it controls the pH value and CO2 supply reliably and fully automatically. The pH computer with touch screen displays the user guidance in multiple languages in plain text and is therefore particularly easy to use. The sensors (not included in the contents of delivery) are connected, the desired values are set in the pH computer and connected to the solenoid valve (not included in the contents of delivery). The pH value and temperature can be controlled via separate sensors. The CO2 supply can thus be controlled fully automatically using the set comparison of target and actual values.

The electrode is sold separately so that the customer always receives a freshly-made electrode. The electrode must be replaced approximately once a year.
