The JBL ProSilent is an air pump that provides an optimal oxygen supply in fresh and saltwater aquariums.

The ready-to-connect diaphragm air pump with check valve and bubble stone is particularly energy-saving. The JBL ProSilent has a sound-absorbing air chamber, a reinforced housing wall and vibration-damping rubber feet, which is why it makes no or hardly any humming noises or “wanders through the area”. However, it is not recommended for use in the bedroom. It is GS tested and can also be mounted on the wall. It has an adjustable air outlet and an air connection with hose screw connections that can be rotated by 90 °.

The gas exchange in the aquarium takes place mainly via the surface movement of the water, in which atmospheric oxygen is introduced into the aquarium water. However, some factors significantly reduce the oxygen content in the aquarium: rising temperatures, lack of CO2 nighttime shutdowns, medication, and more.

A deficiency can quickly arise in aquariums with little surface flow. Because the plant mass is also decisive: even if many plants produce vital oxygen during the day, they also exhale carbon dioxide at night, since they do not undergo photosynthesis without light. It is precisely here that the use of the JBL ProSilent can be advantageous in order to avoid unnecessary permanent pH fluctuations overnight, with which most fish face additional difficulties. Due to the resulting water movement, the (excess) CO2 is actively expelled and atmospheric oxygen gets into the aquarium water.

Even in summer, when the temperatures rise, the oxygen content in the aquarium can become scarce; the JBL ProSilent provides a quick remedy here and lets the aquarium inhabitants breathe a sigh of relief.

Easy installation
The JBL ProSilent is connected to the air hose. This is cut off and the check valve with the direction of the arrow in the aquarium is installed. The appropriate length is cut and the bubble stone placed in the aquarium.
