The JBL ProFlora The 7 + 13 balls are a long-term root fertiliser and special clay balls loaded with important minerals such as iron, potassium for strong plant roots and magnificent plant growth in aquarium plants in a freshwater aquarium.
JBL ProFlora The 7 balls supply the plants with iron, potassium, sulfur and the stable trace elements manganese, molybdenum, zinc, boron, cobalt and copper in fully plant-available form. The fertiliser prevents and remedies deficiency symptoms, such as iron and potassium deficiency. Algae growth is increased by the optimal growth promotion of the plants.
Many vital trace elements cannot be fertilised on stock because they are very sensitive and in the environment of an aquarium, other compounds would quickly form and fail. As a result, they are no longer available for the plants. However, since plants can only develop their full splendour if no essential nutrient is lacking, JBL has developed a special fertiliser that contains all the sensitive trace elements and other important substances in an adapted form: the plant fertiliser 24. Only the daily addition of these substances makes splendour possible for all aquarium plants and is perfect plant care in the highest perfection. Together with the basic fertilisers and JBL AquaBasis plus, all aquarium plants are optimally supplied with mineral nutrients and trace elements. A supply of CO2 is also recommended.
Depending on the size of the plants, one to several balls are pressed into the root area each year.
Plant genera that take up many nutrients via roots:
Echinodorus, Cryptocoryne, Vallisneria, Crinum, Nymphea
Plant genera that absorb nutrients through both leaves and roots:
Ludwigia, Limnophila, Hygrophila, Alternanthera, Cabomba
Our expert Oliver Knott recommends:
JBL plant fertilisers supply the plants with all the main nutrients and essential trace elements via water - the optimal growth promotion of the plant actively reduces algae growth.
