JBL Zanzibar WHITE (5 kg)

The JBL Zanzibar White is a white, fine substrate, which is suitable for freshwater and seawater aquariums, as well as for use in the terrarium.

JBL Zanzibar White is a natural soil for all aquariums and optimal for grounding animals., As this fine rounded quartz sand also occurs in the native waters of these animals. When feeding fish such as armoured catfish and loaches, the sensitive barbels are spared. The fine grain and dense storage prevent the infiltration of mulch and other waste, thus preventing decay processes that could hinder plant growth. For magnificent plant growth, we recommend JBL AquaBasic plus long-term nutrient medium with JBL Zanzibar White as a top layer. JBL Zanzibar White releases neither hardeners nor unwanted silicates to the aquarium water.

Application
JBL Zanzibar White is pre-cleaned and therefore only needs to be rinsed briefly in tap water before use. When filling with water, make sure not to disturb the floor. How to calculate the need for Zanzibar White for your aquarium (with a layer thickness of 5 cm): Length in cm x Width in cm / 140 = kg Zanzibar White.

Tip
We recommend considering the possibility of a substrate for the promotion of the plant growth before the introduction of the soil substrate since a subsequent introduction makes clearing out the complete aquarium necessary!
