Description
The MI527-25 Iodine Powder Reagent is a high-quality reagent for use with the Milwaukee MW13 Iodine Photometer. Both the reagent and the photometer use an adaptation of the Standard Methods for the Examination of Wastewater 18th edition DPD Method. Simply add the reagent to the sample and wait for the reaction. The reaction between iodine in the sample and the reagent causes the sample to turn pink. The photometer then uses the colour to determine the iodine concentration. The reagent is meant for use with samples with an expected range of 0.0 to 12.5 ppm (mg/L) of iodine.
