Description
The IceFree Thermo from OASE provides ideal frost protection for your pond during the coldest months, ensuring that flora and fauna survive the winter safely. It not only guarantees that sufficient oxygen reaches the water but also allows harmful fermentation gases to escape. This energy-efficient pond de-icer is equipped with an active heating element, making it effective even during prolonged periods of severe frost.
The IceFree Thermo 330 features an integrated frost-monitor function that only activates when there is a risk of freezing. This prevents unnecessary energy consumption during milder spells. Another intelligent feature is its resistance heating technology, which delivers higher performance in freezing conditions while protecting the unit from temperature-related damage when exposed to the air.
Tip: Even when outdoor temperatures plummet to –20 °C, an ice-free zone is maintained around the floating unit.
