Description

Black Aquarium Rocks are an edgy, roughly hewn natural stone, whose deep black colour simply looks cool. Combined with dark aquarium soil, these angular stones with their relatively smooth surface really look impressive. Great as a contrast with green aquarium plants, for aquascapes that with an atmosphere a little to the gloomy side, and as solitary rock.

Black Aquarium Rocks are relatively heavy and contain a little lime and may harden the water just a bit. With Black Aquarium Rocks, you can create impressive mountain ranges or canyons in your tank or use them in an Iwagumi layout. Also perfect as an eye catcher in the midground of your planted tank.

These spectacularly structured natural stones are perfect for freshwater aquariums and terrariums, and they can be planted with epiphytes and mosses in addition. These stones contain a little lime and therefore may increase the water hardness slightly.

Our expert Oliver Knott says:
Black Aquarium Rocks - a very dark aquarium stone!
