Olibetta Gravel - Crystal Quartz 1-2mm

This fine natural gravel with rounded grains is ideally suited for aquariums with bottom-dwellers. Armoured catfish, for example, simply love to chew the fine gravel for any food that sinks down.

The fine-grained soil prevents seepage of food which benefits the water quality in your aquarium. The fine gravel does not compact, so that the roots of your aquarium plants, despite the fine substrate, still get enough nutrients and grow well. You can use the fine natural gravel as the sole bed material in the aquarium or use it with other grains and gravel colours.

For example, it is great for creating a sand path between a darker substrate. Olibetta natural gravel for the aquarium and Aquascape has not only a beautiful look but also an additional benefit as a biological filter. It is especially great in conjunction with a floor washer or floor heater. The natural gravel should be thoroughly rinsed with cold water before use to remove any abrasive debris and dust.
