Olibetta's colourful gravel mix for the aquarium is composed of several visually and thematically matching colours. With this appealing mixture, you can visually loosen up your aquarium perfectly. The Olibetta gravel mix is guaranteed to be free of any harmful substances. It is manufactured in accordance with the DIN standard for toy safety, DIN EN 71, Part 3. The coating with lasting, elastic synthetic resin ensures that the gravel is absolutely water-neutral, resistant to chemicals and CO2-resistant.
You can create accents with different grain sizes, or you mix different colours, put them in parallel, ... just as your imagination would like it to be. The Olibetta coloured gravel mix for aquariums not only looks decorative but also works as a giant biological filter - for an optimal biological balance in your aquarium.
The rounded shape of the gravel grains minimises the risk of injury your aquarium dwellers. We recommend the slightly coarser grain size of 2.0-3.0 mm for normal community pools and especially for larger aquariums with residents with an active metabolism. It is great for use with a floor heater or floor washer.

These great coloured gravel mixes are guaranteed to release nothing to the water. Here you can design your aquarium to your whim. The somewhat coarser grain size of 2-3 mm can be cleaned very easily.
Our gravel is plastic coated and may therefore be washed out only briefly and coldly before use in order to remove transport-related abrasion. The gravel should not be rinsed hot or heated above aquarium temperature.
