The coloured Olibetta gravel for the aquarium is guaranteed to be free from harmful substances. We work according to the standard DIN EN 71, part 3, so that our gravel corresponds to the German industry standard for toy safety.
Thanks to its coating with a lasting, elastic synthetic resin, the gravel releases absolutely nothing to the water, it is resistant to chemicals and CO2-resistant. You can use the gravel either alone or as a coloured accent, you can mix the colours or use them parallel to each other and play with different grits ... your imagination knows no bounds here.
In addition to its decorative function, Olibetta gravel for the aquarium also has a positive effect on the biological balance, as it acts as a natural biological filter. Its rounded shape ensures that your aquarium dwellers can not hurt themselves. The different grain sizes are recommended for normal community aquariums and especially for larger aquarium dwellers with an active metabolism.
Our expert Oliver Knott recommends:
This gravel is guaranteed non-toxic and stimulates creativity. The grain size of 2-3 mm can be kept very clean and is perfect for use with a floor washer or underfloor heating.
Our gravel is plastic coated and may, therefore, be washed out only briefly and coldly before use in order to remove transport-related abrasion. The gravel should not be rinsed hot or heated above aquarium temperature.

Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
Soft green tone that was exactly what I wanted. I’m mixing it with basic black gravel and black pebbles for a tiny terrarium project I want to make.
