sera Phyto med Protazid is a herbal medicinal product that contains highly effective quinine (as hydrochloride) as an active ingredient which is obtained from cinchona bark.
It can be used to treat white spot disease in freshwater and marine fish and other protozoan skin parasites in freshwater such as Ichthyobodo sp., Chilodonella sp. or Piscinoodinium pillulare. Ornamental fish in marine water suffering from velvet disease or clown fish disease can also be successfully treated with sera Phyto med Protazid.
sera Phyto med Protazid is very well tolerated by ornamental fish in freshwater and marine water. But it is not tolerated by invertebrates and algae. If necessary, treat the diseased fish in a quarantine tank.
Active substance: quinine hydrochloride from Cinchonae cortex 22.5 g
Medication for animals. Keep locked away and out of the reach of children and pets. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Store at room temperature and away from light. Do not use with other medicines. Please read the leaflet carefully!
