Sera siporax Nitrat-Minus Professional, 145 g

This professional high-performance filter medium from sera supports the biological nitrate breakdown with parallel nitrite and ammonium breakdown. Thanks to the Siporax ring and matching biopolymer ball, the filter performance of the sintered glass tube is maximised. The product is also almost maintenance-free and durable; the frequency of water changes can be reduced.

The degradable biopolymer in particular functions as a carbon source for corresponding bacteria; it can be replaced with new balls at any time after it has been dissolved. The recommended dosage according to the manufacturer is 1 scoop per 15 litres of water.

Area of application: In particular in larger and/or densely populated community or cichlid tanks, the water values are improved by siporax Nitrat-minus Professional.

Note from the manufacturer: In special plant basins or aquariums with dense planting and a corresponding nitrogen requirement, this filter medium can lead to the need for additional NPK fertilisation (e.g. with sera flore 4 plant).
