Dennerle Plants Alternanthera reineckii 'Mini' CUP

Alternanthera reineckii “Mini”, native to South America, is a stem plant with lots of character. The slow-growing, small plant grows up to 10 cm tall and is a lovely addition to the foreground. It has average demands and requires plenty of light, a good supply of nutrients and CO₂ fertilisation for its magnificent leaves to turn an eye-catching red.

This mini plant available in cups is cultivated in-vitro in sterile conditions in a laboratory. The cups contain only the plant and some nutrient-filled liquid - simply rinse it out before planting it in your aquarium. Such plants are also suitable for use with sensitive animals such as dwarf shrimps and can be used immediately. In-vitro plants do not harbour pests such as snails or parasites. No pesticides are used.
