Description
Taxiphyllum barbieri is often incorrectly referred to as Java moss. The real Java moss, Vesicularia dubyana, was gradually replaced by Taxiphyllum barbieri in the 1970s. Taxiphyllum barbieri is an easy to care for moss that displays many different growth variants.
It also grows well in shady areas and is very tolerant of different water values. You can create magical moss landscapes by tying it down to roots or stones.
