Tap water contains chlorine, rainwater is contaminated with dirt particles and pollutants. Before adding this water to your pond you need to detoxify and neutralise the harmful substances that are in it.

TeichStarter is a water condtioner that specialises in treating tap, rain and well water. In addition to removing harmful substances such as heavy metal compounds, it ensures the stability of carbonate hardness and normalises the pH value. This creates the optimal living conditions in your pond and contributes to the development of important bacteria. It is suitable to treat water for refilling or newly filling your pond.

Application:

Use TeichStarter after heavy rain. Sprinkle the powder on the water surface. The product must not be dissolved or touched before use!

Filters and other systems may remain in operation while the product is being used. It is harmless to people and animals in the water.

Dosage recommendation:

Use 100 g TeichStarter for every 1000 L pond water. If the water has a low pH value, double the dose. Don't worry, there is no risk of overdosing!

Note:

In certain cases, the TeichStarter water conditioner may have a limited effect.

• If the water in the pond is constantly acidic or soft, TeichStarter loses its effectiveness more quickly because it is continuously neutralising the water. The pH value increases as soon as the TeichStarter is used up. This happens for example with some types of concrete and cement since they can cause lye to leach into the pond water after a while.
• If the water in the pond is changed, a new treatment with TeichStarter starter is recommended. Any previously added amount will have been drained out with the old pond water and is no longer effective.
