Tropica Anubias Barteri sp. on Lava Stone
The very easy to care for Anubias barteri sp, the broad-leaved spear leaf, comes from Africa. It is perfect for tying on roots or stones in the middle ground and tolerates soft to hard water. The original form of many variants is the broad-leaved spear blade Anubias barteri var. 'Barteri' from the jungle streams of Africa. The firm, dark green leaves of this slow-growing, robust and rather undemanding aquarium plant are not eagerly nibbled by herbivorous fish. This Anubias doesn't need a lot of light.
The propagation of the plant is as easy as the care: cut off a piece with 2 leaves and tie it up. You can also buy this plant as an XL specimen. This large mother plant is a particularly impressive example of Anubias barteri var. 'Barteri'.
