Description

Gammarus, or freshwater shrimps, are perfect as a natural food for aquatic and terrestrial turtles as well as large ornamental fish. They are also a part of the natural diet of fish in the wild. Their broad nutrient spectrum includes macronutrients, trace elements and the natural carotenoid beta-carotene. The small freshwater shrimps are also a source of chitin, which serves as fibre.

Feeding recommendation:
Feed several times a day in amounts sufficient for the number of shrimps in the aquarium. For optimal nutrition, the feed should be supplemented with other products from Tropical.
