The Tunze® Carbon Sediment Filter is a spare part for the Tunze RO Station 8550.
The TUNZE® RO Station 8550 is a quality reverse osmosis device for pure water production (RO water). In aquaristics, it is particularly suitable for marine and freshwater aquariums. RO Station 8550 consists of a 5 µm sediment filter, a 1 µm carbon sediment filter and a TFC membrane (polysulfone connection). The average retention rate is 98%, the proportion of pure water is approx. 20-25% of the processed water.
With the carbon sediment filter, you can maintain your reverse osmosis system just fine! From time to time, you should replace the filters and membranes in your system to ensure smooth functioning and permanently clean water!
