The Tunze Water Level Alarm is a water level error detector with an optical control unit and three sensors.
The Tunze Water Level Alarm is a water level error detector that serves as a supplement to water filling systems. In the event of a fault, all consumers connected via the switch socket are switched off, a warning signal sounds and a red diode lights up. The Water Level Alarm protects your filter system in the aquarium or in the base cabinet from running dry and can damage, e.g. prevents accidental emptying of the filter container. But the water level alarm can also protect against dry running in the case of water level controllers with a lack of refilled water. In base cabinets, it can monitor the process to protect you from an overflow of the aquarium, e.g. when the pipe system is blocked. In addition, the water level alarm can monitor existing refill systems (osmolators) with large water reserves and derive them as overflow protection.
The Water Level Alarm has 3 sensors: a dry running sensor and 2 overflow sensors. Each sensor has a holder for glueing with silicone or for clamping on horizontal or vertical panes. You can also put the holders together. The control unit has an optical display for each sensor combined with a warning tone. The switch socket has a switching capacity of up to 230V / 1,800 W (at 115V / 900 W). Once installed correctly, the Water Level Alarm can monitor various water levels. If the water level exceeds or falls below the set limits, all devices connected to the switch socket are switched off in the event of a malfunction, and a warning signal sounds and a red warning lamp lights up. After the cause has been remedied, the red button on the control unit can be reset and the device is ready for monitoring again.
