Description
Amtra Biorings Freshwater is a biofilter material specially developed for high-performance filter systems. The main ingredient is sintered glass. Minerals with an affinity for microorganisms such as iron, calcium and sodium were also processed in the manufacturing process. The result: an ideal colonisation substrate for these organisms, both during the aerobic and anaerobic filter stage. The usable filter area is 200 m² at 175g, with the best possible flow. Amtra biorings guarantee the best possible degradation rates for ammonia, nitrate and nitrite.
