Anubias Echinodorus sp. 'El diablo'
The easy-to-care-for Echinodorus sp. 'El Diablo' comes from South America and likes soft to hard water. The 20 to 35cm high rosette plant really comes into its own in the middle ground to the background of an aquarium.
Echinodorus sp. 'El diablo' is an exciting new breed with great colours. The large leaves sit on relatively long, slender stems. All in all, Echinodorus sp. 'El diablo' around 20 to 35cm high. The new shoots are bright red, the older leaves turn green, but retain a red speckled pattern. The leaf veins are wine red.
Echinodorus sp. 'El diablo' is a root setter that takes up most of its nutrients through the roots and therefore needs a fertiliser in order to grow properly. CO2 fertilisation is not absolutely necessary, but promotes growth and colouration. Medium-light is sufficient for Echinodorus sp. 'El diablo' for good growth.
This beautiful, large sword plant fits perfectly into the middle ground to the background in the aquarium, where it can add great colour accents and can be used as a solitary plant. Echinodorus sp. 'El diablo' grows quite expansively and should therefore be given a nice, spacious place so that it really comes into its own.
Echinodorus sp. 'El diablo' produces offspring plants, which you can simply harvest and use, in order to multiply it in a targeted manner.
