Description
Bucephalandra sp. 'Needle leaf' is a leafy plant endemic to Borneo. It has a low, creeping growth habit and has delicate, olive-green leaves - ideal for layouts that feature a lot of little details. Like all other Bucephalandra plants, it is an excellent epiphyte for hardscape material made of rock, wood or coconut shell. Since it has low nutrient requirements and can cope well with low light, it is suitable for shady edges or caves. It is suitable for the foreground or midground and is a good choice for small aquariums.
- Light requirements: variable, low light acceptable
- Optimal temperature: 20 to 26°C
- Water values: 0 - 30°dGH

Note: The plants are grown in-vitro in sterile conditions in a laboratory. They are therefore also suitable for sensitive animals such as dwarf shrimps and can be used immediately. In-vitro plants do not harbour pests such as snails or parasites. No pesticides are used.
