Dupla Biopellets NP

Phosphate and nitrite are waste products that are harmful to the flora and fauna of your aquarium. With these Biopellets NP from Dupla, they can be effectively filtered out of the seawater aquarium. The pellets are also 100% biodegradable and therefore harmless. In addition, they offer useful bacteria a lot of colonisation area and are at the same time an organic carbon source, i.e. energy supplier, for them.

Dupla has developed these pellets as filter material especially for pellet or fluidised bed reactors in saltwater aquariums. An included dosing spoon makes the additions easier.

How does it work? Busy bacteria convert harmful nitrate and phosphate into microbial biomass. This is either removed from the aquarium by skimming or serves as an additional food source for filter feeders, sponges and corals.

Manufacturer's recommendations for use: To begin with, please add 50 ml of Biopellets NP per 100 litres of aquarium water. If necessary, you can double this dose every 4 to 5 weeks. However, please only use a maximum of 200 ml Biopellets NP per 100 litres of aquarium water.
